Here's the scoop: Gap-toothed.com began in 1995. After a rich life online—with appearances at This American Life, Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press—we're on hiatus.

We peep our heads above water now and then to spread the gap-toothed gospel or send an occasional tweet. And there's also the archives, where the articles, pics and other goodies are visible in all their plain-truth beauty.
